Matcha Tea

Whether you work in the public or private sector, whether you’re on the road or in an office, it’s important to fuel your body with the choicest fuel.  And these days, green is queen in the world of liquid energy.

Matcha Tea has long been touted as a medicinal drink, due to the high antioxidant content and slew of nutritional benefits.  This green tea is perfect to store at your desk or in your work space, so you can enjoy a teaspoon in hot water whenever you need a boost of energy or want something calming and healthy to drink.  Matcha is rich in L- Theanine, which is an amino acid that promotes calming sensations with clarity of mind.  Think caffeine without the nervous zing.

When drinking Matcha tea, you ingest the whole leaf in a powder form, rather than the brewed water in loose leaf green tea.  Unsurprisingly, the health benefits of Matcha far outweigh those of a cup of green tea.

Take a moment for yourself, tip a small teaspoon full of matcha into hot water, stir, and enjoy.  You can make the matcha tea into a latte with a bit of plant milk and enjoy as a creamy and warming beverage as well.
